What actually happens during a treatment?
You recline in a reflexology chair or lie on a massage couch, fully clothed. The therapist clean wipes your bare feet and powders them - preparing them - using the thumb, the therapist will make small movements up and across and down different areas of your feet, combined with relaxing gentle movement and massage
Each area of the feet corresponds to different areas and systems of your body - the treatment gently stimulates and balances.
"I don't like my feet"
This is a phrase I have often been given as a reason for not having this treatment. I have seen all sorts of shapes and sizes of feet and the condition of the skin can be affected by the treatment, in a positive way.
So don't be shy about your feet.
Reflexology can also be carried out on the hands.
